Capital Chapter was chartered on February 17, 1952, in Washington, DC, with 113 members signing Capital Chapter's charter. Headquarters appointed the first officers. These officers selected the name "Capital" for the chapter. Capital Chapter is part of the Delaware-Maryland-District of Columbia Division in IAAP's Southeast District. Our members represent some of the most prestigious firms and organizations in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area. We take pride in our work and are serious about our careers. We work in partnership with employers to promote professional excellence and career achievement.
Capital Chapter has been a leader in providing innovative educational programs and events to it's members for many, many years, and this year we celebrated 57 years of creating administrative excellence!
